TOGETHER WE SET A NEW WORLD RECORD

We succeeded in earning a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ title following our attempt to create the largest online photo album of people wearing superhero costume masks.

Children, parents, grandparents and teachers from around the world shared 'superhero selfies', creating a brilliant collection of images.

E-BOOKS

There are five interactive E-books on this website to help guide children through their FAST Heroes learning journey.

The E-books introduce the FAST Heroes (Timmy and his grandparents) who then take children through a series of fun and interactive tasks. The E-books are unlocked one-by-one, creating a sense of anticipation and intrigue.

Alongside the E-books is Basecamp, a section of the site that children can use to share with their parents and grandparents what they have learnt – helping ensure the life-saving knowledge is passed on.

These sections add a gamification element to the campaign that helps keep children engaged and enthused.

GAMES TO UNLOCK
There are four fun online games starring the FAST Heroes that children can unlock. This is done by earning Diamonds that are rewarded for completing tasks in the E-book and Basecamp sections of the website.

ONLINE SHOP
There is also an online shop where children can spend the Coins & Diamonds they earn. There are a range of FAST Heroes goodies that can be purchased and downloaded, from Face Mats to Jigsaws and from Greeting Cards to a Bedtime Storybook.

This campaign was developed by the Department of Education and Social Policy of the University of Macedonia and has been made possible by the support from the Angels Initiative. The Angels Initiative is a Healthcare improvement project aimed at improving stroke care across the world. This is achieved by helping set up new Stroke Ready Hospitals and improving the quality of care in existing Stroke hospitals. The eventual goal is that all stroke patients have access to the same level of care irrespective of where they are in the world.
